Accessibility Statement
Genext Information Systems is committed to ensuring that thailetters.com is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to provide an inclusive experience regardless of technology or ability.
1. Conformance Status
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments. We treat WCAG 2.1 AA as our target standard and review the site against it on an ongoing basis.
2. Measures We Take
- Keyboard accessibility: the flashcards can be operated entirely by keyboard. Press Space (or Enter) to reveal the answer, the Left arrow to mark a card wrong and the Right arrow to mark it right (the C and X keys also work), press S to hear the letter read aloud, and the mode and font toggles are reachable with the keyboard.
- Visible focus and labels: interactive controls have visible focus indicators and accessible labels for assistive technology.
- Color and contrast: we use high-contrast cream text on a dark background and avoid conveying information by color alone — for example, the consonant class is shown as a word ("low", "mid", "high"), not only by color.
- Semantic structure: meaningful headings, landmarks (header, main, navigation, footer), and a "Skip to main content" link on each page.
- Responsive, zoom-friendly layout: content reflows and remains usable when text is enlarged or on smaller screens.
- Reduced motion: animations are subtle and we honor the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
3. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist:
- Third-party advertising content (e.g., Google AdSense) is served by external providers, and we have limited control over its accessibility.
- Correct display of the Thai script depends on the fonts available in your browser or device; on some systems certain characters may render differently.
- Spoken pronunciation uses your browser or device's built-in speech voices. Hearing the Thai name read correctly depends on a Thai-language voice being installed on your system; if none is available, the tool reads the romanized name instead, which is only an approximation.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us — your feedback helps us improve.
4. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of ThaiLetters.com. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:

5. Assessment and Ongoing Effort
We assess accessibility through a combination of manual review and automated testing tools. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to improve the experience as the site evolves. This statement will be updated as changes are made.
6. Enforcement
If you contact us with an accessibility concern and are not satisfied with our response, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States.
